Clearly Brilliant: Introducing GE Profile™Refrigeration with LED Lighting

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — (NYSE: GE) — When GE added clear, bright LED lighting into GE Profile™ bottom-freezer refrigerators, they gave consumers something more than just brighter, crisper illumination. GE also provided more valuable room in the fresh-food compartment to free up space to store items such as tall bottles.
By replacing large, standard light bulbs with innovative, flat-panel LED lighting, GE Profile designers made more room in these refrigerators. The brilliant interior design is complemented by the fresh look of the refrigerator's exterior. Available in 21-cubic-foot counter depth and 25-cubic-foot free-standing configurations, the elegantly contoured and beveled doors feature hidden hinges for a sleeker look. Stainless steel models now feature a gray case for a subtler, monochromatic appearance. Dispensers provide chilled, filtered water.
In addition to an upgraded appearance, the Profile refrigerators feature the ClimateKeeper™ food preservation system. With its multiple electronic sensors, multi-flow air system and electronic controls, the GE system keeps temperatures consistent to help preserve foods longer.
Available in April 2008, these ENERGY STAR®-qualified refrigerators will have an estimated retail price ranging from $2,099 to $2,699* and feature a choice of black, white and stainless steel finishes.
