LOUISVILLE, Ky. — (NYSE: GE) — It's easier than ever to take care of your wardrobe while taking control of utility costs, thanks to new ENERGY STAR®-qualified GE® and GE Profile™ topload washers.
GE combined the innovative HydroWave™ wash system with the efficient, new RainShower™ rinse system that saves up to 15 gallons of water in every load of laundry.* Just as taking a shower uses far less water than taking a bath, the RainShower system gives every load of laundry three "showers," rinsing clothes clean without filling the washtub full of water. Because it uses less water than traditional toploads, the RainShower rinse system provides rinse performance similar to a high-efficiency frontload washer.
Saving up to 35 percent of the water used by a traditional topload system, the RainShower rinse system can save up to 7,800 gallons of water each year for a consumer who washes just 10 loads per week. The HydroWave wash system cares for clothes by gently, slowly moving them through waves of water to help clothes last longer. Only GE has the HydroWave handwash selection, America's Gentlest Agitation!™ that eliminates the need to wash fine fabrics by hand.
With consumers' preferences in mind, GE ENERGY STAR-qualified washers are designed to allow the use of liquid fabric softeners. Simply choose the fabric softener option to dilute and properly distribute the softener at just the right time.
For added convenience, the 3.5-cubic-foot king-size-capacity stainless steel ribbed basket holds more clothes in every load to reduce time spent doing the laundry. Designed for quiet operation, GE Profile models are available with rotary electronic controls with Adaptive Logic™ system with an LED countdown timer and optional Extended Spin and special cycles speed wash and prewash cycles (WPRE8150H). There are also models without the special cycles (WPRE6150H), and all GE Profile models feature a handsome white finish with titanium backsplash. GE washer WCRE6270H is available in white with a silver backsplash.
